Owner, Performer, Choreographer and Accomplished Dance Instructor, began her professional dancing and teaching career over thirty years ago.

While teaching for a national dance studio, Ann became fully accredited to teach all levels of dance curriculum. Ann is a first place professional competitor, competing regionally and nationally. Additionally, she has been consistently voted one of the top instructors, and Celebrity Dance Studio as one of the top studios in the region. Ann’s unique teaching style and creative choreography has earned many of her competitive students first place finishes. Her desire to share the thrill of dance is exhibited in her community outreach. Such as, educating school aged children in ballroom dance at many area public and private schools, performing dance exhibitions at many numerous charity events, working with many Chamber of Commerce special functions, and teaching seniors at Villa St. Benedict the joys of ballroom dance.

Dance is not just a career for Ann. She believes dancing is one of the greatest social tools you can use in life by increasing self-confidence while at the same time having fun. Whether Ann is teaching a student basic, intermediate, advance techniques, or giving a performance, Ann brings her enthusiasm for dance to her audience!

Kimberly started ballet dancing at the age of 3 and continued learning all types of dance from there. However, she had a special place in her heart for Ballroom and Latin. She started competing in her teens placing and ranking quite high nationally. She then become a professional at 18 and has been teaching for 14 years as a certified Dance Instructor under the DVIDA syllabus. She currently competes professionally in both American Smooth and American Rhythm styles with Michael Blanc and is the manager at Celebrity Dance Studio. 

Cara is originally from Lake County, Illinois and is an alumna at The Illinois Institute of Art and College of Lake County. She has her Bachelor's degree in Business Management and certified instructor in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access. When she's not behind a computer, she enjoys spending time with her family playing advanced board games, and seeing movies.

Michael has always been interested in the movement of the body, which is why he received a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology at the University of Illinois. He has been a certified professional at Celebrity Dance Studio for 11 years une the DVIDA syllabus, and has received 3rd place Top Teacher at the WSDC. He currently competes professionally both in American Smooth and American Rhythm styles with Kimberly Blanc. 

Brian has been dancing since the age of 12, competing as a teenager in International Championships. He competes professionally in both Ballroom and Latin dancing, and has been a certified professional instructor under the DVIDA syllabus at Celebrity Dance Studio for over 10 years. He recently placed 3rd in a top teacher competition at The Windy City Open DanceSport Championship.

Taylor started dancing at the age of 5, taking hip hop classes and some ballet. Throughout middle school and high school she was involved in show choir, making her excel in the performing aspect of dance.  Taylor has been a certified instructor under the DVIDA syllabus for over 5 years as well as being one of the pole fitness instructors.  She is an excellent instructor and her humor and wit make her a wonderful person to be around! Kyle has been dancing and performing since his childhood.  Throughout grade school, middle school and high school, he was deeply involved with the arts, performing in numerous theatre, choir and band performances.  He attended Valparaiso University studying Music Education and Triton College focusing on Graphic Design/Visual Communications.  During his time at Valparaiso, Kyle became involved with the competitive ballroom dance team and went on to place in several competitions.  Kyle is now a certified dance instructor under the DVIDA syllabus.  He loves music theory, puns, and bringing the benefits of dance to all of his students!

Liz has been dancing since age 10, starting out with jazz, ballet, and contemporary. She continued studying dance throughout college, joining the dance team, and even earned a Minor in Dance. She recently picked up Ballroom, joined Celebrity's team in 2016, and has loved it ever since! With dance as her passion, she enjoys being able to share the art with students (especially new ones!).
