“I checked out the website for Celebrity Dance Studio and decided to give it a shot. I went for a trial and after the first couple of visits I knew I liked the atmosphere. As a guy, going in to take ballroom dance lessons can be kind of intimidating, but the staff makes it comfortable for me. The instruction is really great. I’ve learned smooth and rhythm, the foxtrot, waltz, and rhumba. Sometimes I have the awkward questions, but they always explain it a different way to make sure that I know the dance moves.”

“I decided to take a few lessons at Celebrity Dance Studio on my birthday since I had seen them perform at various events. That was five years ago. I was apprehensive in the beginning, since I was usually referred to as clumsy. But when you walk into the studio the staff is so patient and supportive. We all encourage the newbies, because we have all been there and now what it’s like to be a little lost in the dances. I had gone through a tragedy with the loss of my husband, and they were who got me off my couch. You can’t dance and be cranky. It puts you in a good mood.”

“I started dancing 5 years ago. I had always wanted to so I looked into a couple of studios in the area. Celebrity Dance Studio had a personal and friendly feel so I decided to go with them. They treat people like family, and the other students are just as friendly. I have learned to dance, and I can go at my own pace. I am not a competitor, I just dance for the joy of it. I take group and private lessons, and try to refine my technique while still having fun. I have gotten my certification in tango, foxtrot, rumba, and swing. I like to dance anything and encourage others to try.”

“I chose Celebrity Dance Studio originally because I knew Ann, the owner, and I came in to try it out. I love every single one of the staff members. They are enthusiastic and encouraging. They are friendly, and they make you feel like the star. I have done a few dance recitals. My husband and I can dance at special occasions and weddings since we know what we are doing. It’s great for our marriage and exercise and fun. The other students and instructors are very nice people. Other should come out and try it.”

“Celebrity Dance Studio is right down the street, and I had seen things about them in the paper. We started in February 2012. They got us doing a bit of everything. We started with swing, cha-cha, rumba, and waltz. We went to Appleton, WI for a performance and it was a fun experience. We saw both amateur and professional dancers. The staff at the studio is a lot of fun; we have a lot of laughs.”
